Anthropic's status page added an incident with impact major, now status resolved, naming the components Claude API (api.anthropic.com), Claude Code, Claude Cowork and claude.ai. A major-impact incident on the API surface is a capacity-strain signal; it reflects what the vendor chose to post, not an SLA measure.
