The claude-sonnet-5 row (input 2, output 10 per MTok, "The best combination of speed and intelligence") was removed from Anthropic's price list, and claude-sonnet-5-5 now appears with the same input 2 / output 10 per MTok, the same description, cached input 0.2, and a batch tier at input 1 / output 5. The successor takes over the mid-tier slot at an unchanged list price rather than a cut, so the positioning moves to the new model without repricing the tier.
