OpenAI's board adds across Applied AI and Forward Deployed Engineering while trimming Marketing and Scaling

infoNov 6 00:00Z

OpenAI added roles in "Applied AI", "Forward Deployed Engineering", "Product Operations", "Safety Systems", "Go To Market", "Scaling", "Security" and "Legal", while closing roles in "Marketing", "Scaling", "Data Science", "Research", "Intelligence & Investigations" and "Forward Deployed Engineering". Separately, OpenAI retitled "Procurement Operations Specialist" to "Procurement Operations Manager" and "Systems Software Engineer, Management Plane" to "Systems Software Engineer, BMC & Management Plane". None of these moves clears the hiring materiality floor on OpenAI's board or any one department.
