What the hyperscalers spend and have sold forward, and what Microsoft and Amazon report about OpenAI and Anthropic. Quarterly from 2020, read from XBRL (the SEC’s tagged financial data) in each filing.
The cash each company spent on property and equipment. A quarter the filing tags only year to date is that figure less the one a quarter shorter, marked derived.
Remaining performance obligations at each quarter end: contracted revenue not yet recognized. Cloud figures where the filer tags one.
Meta tags no backlogMeta’s filings carry no remaining performance obligations fact.
Every figure Microsoft tags on OpenAI in its 10-Q and 10-K, from the first filing that tags it. These are Microsoft’s numbers. They aren’t OpenAI’s results.

Alphabet’s Anthropic stake isn’t in its filingsEDGAR full-text search finds no Alphabet 10-Q or 10-K that mentions Anthropic (checked 2026-11-04), and no XBRL fact names it. The 10-Q for the quarter to 2026-09-30 describes “our investment in one private company” without naming it. We don’t attach that to Anthropic.
Where each number comes from, and what it isn’t.
We read Microsoft (CIK 0000789019, fiscal year ends June 30), Alphabet (CIK 0001652044, fiscal year ends December 31), Amazon (CIK 0001018724, fiscal year ends December 31), Meta (CIK 0001326801, fiscal year ends December 31), Oracle (CIK 0001341439, fiscal year ends May 31). EDGAR’s company facts list each company-wide figure with the filing that reported it, back past 2020. A figure tagged on a segment, a customer, or an investee is only in each 10-Q and 10-K’s own XBRL file, so we read that file once per filing.
Each period shows the newest filing’s value. When a later filing restates a value, the old one stays in the table as restated. Every row links to its filing.
A new 10-Q or 10-K that moves a series raises an alert that states the number. The data is at exposure_quarters and filed_facts. Add ?as_of= to see only what was filed before a date.
Those downloads give you the last 90 days of periods. Add ?history=full for the series back to 2020. That history is CC BY-NC 4.0 for data we publish from 2026-11-04 on, so commercial use needs a paid license. This page shows all of it, free to read.
Data from the last 90 days is CC BY 4.0. Older data is CC BY-NC 4.0, except what we published before 2026-11-04, which stays CC BY 4.0. How you can reuse it.
